Grace An is Associate Professor of Cinema Studies and French at Oberlin College, where she has just finished a term as Director of the Cinema Studies program. She has published on directors Olivier Assayas, Alain Resnais, Chris Marker, and Jean-Luc Godard. Her teaching and research interests include 1968, French feminisms, the documentary and essay film, militant cinema, and the history of the film actor. Her book in progress is titled Disobedient Muse: Delphine Seyrig, Feminism, and The Cinema.
