Gitgo Productions presents FEM/CINE/ANARCHY, a FREE #DirectedByWomen popup screening of women-directed short films on the patio at SLAB Portland.

This is a FREE event and is weather-dependent. In the event of a downpour, event cancellation will be posted here.

#DirectedByWomen is a worldwide film viewing party for & celebration of women directors, during the month of September. The whole world is invited to “fall in love” with the work of women directors. FMI, please visit http://directedbywomen.com

We guarantee a night of laughs, gasps, and anarchic women! See below for lineup — more films may be added!

CONFIRMED for screening:
Laura, directed by Carin Bräck
The Tell-Tale Heart — Sisters, directed by Christine Parker
We Had Plans, directed by Christina Raia
Grace Anne, directed by Danielle Winston

The program running time is approximately 60–90 minutes and will be held outside on the patio at SLAB Portland. The weather in Maine in late September can be chilly, so dress accordingly. The program is weather-dependent, so in the event of a downpour, any cancellation will be posted on the Facebook event page. Also, films are unrated which means inappropriate for children and those who don’t like being discomforted. Forewarned.

Again, this is a FREE event!
